Children, crayons and carpet can create a real challenge. Most crayon marks/damage can be removed from the carpet without issue.
Our first step is to scrape away any excess crayon with a dull knife. Sometimes if the crayon is still soft we will hold an ice cube in a plastic bag to the crayon so that the ice can harden the crayon, making it easier to scrape up.
We will then apply our Avenge spotter to the crayon, blotting, not rubbing the area. As a tip, do not rub a crayon stain as this can push the color deeper into the carpet making it even harder to remove.
Once the entire crayon stain is removed we will blot the affected area with a clean wet cloth.
